Situated in the heart of the historic town, this beautiful hotel, built in 1893, is the oldest in Sopron. Built in a classic style, it offers a fusion of traditional and modern hospitality.
Close to the Austrian border and one hour's drive from Vienna (70 km), the hotel lies west of Budapest (220 km). During your stay you can explore the old town centre of Sopron, rich in monuments, and the town district of Loverek, with its sub-alpine climate.
The hotel comprises of 62 individually formed rooms meeting all demands, of which 14 are apartments equipped with antique furniture.
Depending on the room class, rooms can be supplied with spare beds, are air-conditioned and have a balcony. The hotel has both a smoking (second floor) and a non-smoking floor (third floor). Bathrobes are available on request and at an additional cost. Rooms without air-conditioning can, on request, be supplied with ventilators.
This traditional Best Western Pannonia M. Hotel in Sopron, combines modern comfort with historic flair. The restaurant and the "White Hall" offer an elegant surrounding for celebrations. At the hotel there are dentists, an eye specialist, a plastic surgeon, an optician, masseuse and the 'Harmony' beauty farm. In 1998 it was extended, adding a parking garage, a fitness-studio, an indoor pool, a tennis court and banquet facilities with full technical equipment.

The hotel boasts a first-class restaurant, a bar, and a café during summer (with a street terrace) all of which are very popular with local guests. Function rooms: - 2 conference rooms for 4 to 10 persons - White Hall ( Fehér Terem): 103 m², capacity: theatre style - 80 persons, u-style - 50 persons, receptions - 80 persons - Cigar room, capacity: at one table 6 - 10 persons The hotel can also take on arranging company events, weddings, balls and receptions. Along with the conference rooms and other hotel facilities, they can host events with 500 to 600 participants. The hotel provides catering services for various events providing exclusive atmosphere and high quality. The kitchen of the Szechenyi restaurant offers an a la carte menu and snacks. It can cater for 200-250 people.
