M6 North Exit Junction 19 on A556, join M56 at Junction 7 East for Stockport, M56 will join M60 follow signs for Stockport remaining on M60. exit at junction 23. Turn left signposted Ashton-Under-Lyne then turn right at the next lights onto A635, after a short time there will be a church on your right and the Police station on your left. Once you are through these lights get into the left hand lane, follow road round through the set of lights, take your second left and York House Hotel is directly in front of you.

With Piccadilly train station on your left hand side, follow on to main set of traffic lights, turn left at Fairfield street onto A635. Follow this road straight through for several miles into Ashton-under-Lyne. Do not turn off. As you approach Ashton you will come to a set of traffic lights with a church on your right and a police station on your left hand side. Stay in this lane and follow road round trough a set of traffic lights, take your second left and York House Hotel is directly in front of you.

M1 North through Sheffield Exit Junction 35A onto A616 for Stockport. Follow road past Steelworks and Penistone to the roundabout. With Plough Inn Pub on your right hand side, turn left onto A628 for Manchester. Follow A628 towards Hollingworth, go straight through traffic lights with Gun Inn Pub on your right hand side. Turn right at fork in road, at mini roundabout go straight ahead. Follow road through Stalybridge onto A635 picking up signs for Ashton/Manchester. You will approach a large roundabout go straight across to next roundabout with Asda store on left. Take 3rd exit towards Oldham go through 1st set of lights at 2nd set take a left and follow road straight to bottom and follow one way system. At one way system bear right and York House Hotel is on your left hand side.
